After picking the potatoes Robyn and Niamh washed them and then we went to the staff room to cook them! We each got a turn to chop the potatoes, after that we sprayed the oven trays with the cooking spray and then we seasoned with herbs and spices! We left them to cook for 40-45 minutes and the smell went all over the school and all the classes wanted some! When we came in from the yard our teacher went down and got the wedges for us to eat. Katie’s dad brought us in cocktail sausages and chicken nuggets to have with the wedges. We sat in the classroom and enjoyed the wedges! We did procedural writing on how to make potato wedges. It was a great day and we had lots of fun!
